Take One of Our New DEO Courses!

Our 2026 Spring Schedule offers access to three new DEO asynchronous courses: Contemporary Issues in Appalachia, Survey of the Bible, and Biblical Counseling in the Local Church Track II. For BI180 Survey of the Bible, we are also offering a new Group Enrollment option for auditors. Groups of auditors that are three or more will receive a discounted rate for the DEO course that will provide more than 30 hours of content for Sunday School classes, Youth Groups, and other Small Groups. The Survey of the Bible covers every book of the Bible and offers access to a great foundation for going deeper into God’s word.

Learn the Biblical Languages!

Hebrew I, Greek II, and the first ever offering of GR420 Introduction to New Testament Textual Criticism are the Spring Schedule. Gaining mastery of the biblical languages greatly enhances your ability to study and teach God’s word. You can get started in Hebrew this Spring with Professor Jenny May, or you can pick up where you left off in Greek with Professor Rex Howe.

Study the Books of the Bible!

Romans, Pauline Epistles, Minor Prophets, General Epistles, and Survey of the Bible are all on the Spring Schedule in 2026. Choose an area of the New Testament or Old Testament, or take our Survey of the Bible Course to acquire an introduction to all the books of the Bible.

Fulfill Your Ministry!

Several classes dedicated to strengthening your ability to minister in the church and in personal ministry settings are available this semester. Classes like Conversational Apologetics, Fundamentals of Speech, Pastoral Theology in Appalachia, Church Planting, English Grammar & Composition, Local Church Ministries, and several Counseling Courses are on the Spring Schedule to help you fulfill your ministry.

Become a Master’s Student!

Did you know that TSBC offers a Master of Arts in Bible/Theology? You can get started in Advanced Principles of Bible Study, Theological Research & Writing for Ministry, and Hebrews I, which are all courses available to entering M.A. students. For those continuing in the M.A. program, Theory and Practices of Church Leadership is being offered with Dr. Matt Shamblin.
