Program Objectives for the Christian Education minor

As a graduate of the CHRISTIAN EDUCATION program minor at the Tri-State Bible College you should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate proficiency in Bible knowledge through interpretation, and the use of various bible study tools,
  2. demonstrate proficiency in the use of expository methods of preaching, or the communication and application of Biblical truth,
  3. evidence the skills necessary to the proper administration of the teaching, worship and business activities of a local church,
  4. articulate an understanding and philosophy of Christian Education with an accompanying Biblical world view that integrates Biblical, historical, professional and contemporary educational concepts,
  5. understand, analyze, and evaluate the components of curricular materials, and the various methods, media, and agencies helpful in church administration and education,
  6. exhibit creativity and critical thinking skills while demonstrating a proficiency in teaching, and the possession of a leadership mentality and accompanying abilities, and
  7. organize, coordinate, and administer an adequate total educational program for a local church.

Program Objectives for the Ministry Studies minor

As a graduate of the MINISTRY STUDIES program minor at Tri-State Bible College you should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate proficiency in Bible knowledge through interpretation, and the use of various Bible study tools,
  2. demonstrate proficiency in the use of expository methods of preaching, or the communication and application of Biblical truth,
  3. evidence the skills necessary to the proper administration of the teaching, worship and business activities of a local church,
  4. properly devise and administer a program of world missions for the evangelization of the lost, and
  5. appreciate a greater "depth" or "breadth" of perspective in relation to the integration of general studies and the Word of God as defined by the student's choice of language options.
